Installation

The installation is so simple that anyone can do it in just a couple of minutes. At their own discretion, users can choose to either secure the Cargo Monkey receiver mounts in place using the provided (and pre-attached) VHB adhesive or can opt to further reinforce the Cargo Monkey mounts by using the self-tapping screws which are also included in the package.

 Mount Position 1 (Quick Access)

• Select a flat surface in a high position close to the tailgate
• Make sure location will not affect closing of the tailgate or tonneau cover
• Thoroughly clean surfaces, remove adhesive backing and press firmly in place* (install U-shape quick lock coupler on left and round coupler on right) 

Mount Position 2 (Cargo Securement)

• Select a flat surface in a low position approximately 18" behind the tailgate 
• Thoroughly clean surfaces, remove adhesive backing and press firmly in place*
• Surface temp must be above 50°F or 10°C, allow 24 hrs for bond to set
• Self-tapping screws (included) are recommended for bedliners, textured surfaces and heavy duty applications 

Cargo Monkey should not be used as the sole means to secure cargo when tailgate is down*
