Q:  Do I need a telescopic pole or will a regular broom handle work?

 A:  Typically you need a telescopic, however if both mount locations are the same distance apart you can use a wooden broom handle (just cut to length)

Q: Where can I buy a pole?

A: Every Hardware, Paint store, Big box, Wallgreens & Walmart…..

  Q: What type of telescopic pole is recommended

 A:  Any 3-6ft steel, aluminum or fiberglass twist or cam lock pole will work (construction grade poles are be best suited for heavy duty commercial applications)

 Q: Can I use a heavy duty click lock construction grade pole?

A: Yes, many of our commercial clients use them (a simple pole modification is typically required as click lock poles lock in 6” increments. see video)

 Q: Will the high bond adhesive work on all surfaces

A: The high grade VHB will create a solid bond to most smooth clean surfaces, self tapping Phillips head tech screws are included and should be used for textured surfaces and heavy duty applications

Q: I have seen some other truck hooks that include poles, why don’t you?

A: a) The poles included with competitive products are typically very light duty and only used for pulling… however most of the product cost may be the built in extra shipping charges due to packaging length

b) Cargo Monkey has been designed for multiple applications and end users, pole choice needs to be optional.
